WASHINGTON- U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met today with Swiss Finance Minister and Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer and Swiss National Bank Chairman Thomas Jordan for the first meeting of the Standing Macroeconomic and Financial Dialogue, a new forum for the U.S. and Switzerland to discuss macroeconomic matters. They spoke about economic areas of mutual interest, including the impact of Russia’s unprovoked and brutal war against Ukraine on the Swiss and global economy.
