Hundreds of hot dogs, bumblebees and four-legged pumpkins will descend on The Promenade, Temecula on October 26th for Animal Friends of the Valleys’ annual “Paws on the Promenade Spooktacular” presented by the ASPCA and John Hine Temecula Subaru Loves Pets. “This is a great event for the entire family,” explained Beth Soltysiak, Director of Development for Animal Friends of the Valleys. “This year, we are really encouraging our fellow local non-profit organizations to get involved as vendors and help educate the community on all of the services they have to offer.”

Also new to this year’s event is Table Trick-or-Treating, where local participating pet and non-profit organizations in our vendor boo-tique will pass out candy to kids of all ages. Note: No chocolate will be permitted at the event due to its toxicity to dogs.

All proceeds from “Paws on the Promenade Spooktacular” go to support Animal Friends of the Valleys, the sole animal shelter serving the cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Menifee and Canyon Lake, as well as rural areas. During the past year, AFV opened their doors to approximately 13,835 animals, in addition to 175 companion pets from families evacuated during the Holy Fire. Animal Friends of the Valleys is dedicated to the prevention of suffering of all animals, ending pet overpopulation & finding furever loving homes for all adoptable pets in their care.
