READOUT: Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen’s Call with Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco

WASHINGTON – Earlier today, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen spoke with the Governor of the Bank of Italy, Ignazio Visco, ahead of this week’s G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting. Secretary Yellen conveyed her intention to continue to work closely with Italy during its G20 presidency on their shared priorities of ending the pandemic, supporting a strong and balanced global economic recovery, improving support for low-income countries, and forcefully addressing the threat of climate change
