WASHINGTON – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Brazilian Minister of the Economy, Paulo Guedes, on Tuesday, November 26, in Washington. Secretary Mnuchin and Minister Guedes reaffirmed the important economic and trade relationship between the United States and Brazil and discussed opportunities for closer cooperation to expand bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. Other topics discussed include Brazil’s economic reform agenda, their respective outlooks on the Brazilian and U.S. economies, and regional developments of mutual concern.
