Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois names top agency and agent from alliance.
Eclipse Insurance Agency and P/L/R Insurance Services are members of Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a cohesive family of over 120 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois.
The Agency of the Year award is presented to an IIA of IL member agency that exemplifies leadership and innovation without the industry. The Agent of the Year award is given to an individual with an outstanding performance and achievement record. The CSR of the Year award is based upon a person’s commitment and contributions to the insurance industry.
“Eclipse is a true success story because it transitioned from a captive to an independent insurance agency only last September,” said VIAA President JD Powers. “This recognition is a huge feat for any agency but is truly remarkable in this case.” Powers added that the alliance is “proud to have members like Eclipse and P/L/R Insurance as a part of our team.”
Founded in 2006, VIAA generates more than $200 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a more than $8 billion national alliance.
