College students submitted applications for a chance to win the scholarship, which was given as a small token to help offset the expenses that college students must pay as part of their ongoing education.
Applicants were required to complete a detailed questionnaire, write an essay on why they wanted to pursue a career in Intellectual Property Law, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
As part of this year’s scholarship, a phone call with the winner was also included with a trademark attorney on the Sausser Summers, PC team to discuss the life of a trademark attorney and provide career advice for the student after graduation.
Sausser Summers, PC will be accepting submissions for their 2020 scholarship from February to July of next year, with the last day for submissions occurring on July 31.
The scholarship is free to enter for all students who meet the necessary requirements.
