Fund for Firefighters
Each year the Step Forward Campaign supports first responder and veteran groups. For 2019, one fundraising drive will support the Butler County Community College Education Foundation’s Butler County Volunteer Firefighter Fund. The Volunteer Firefighter funds are available to assist all Butler County Volunteer Firefighters with the cost of the Fire Training courses, the Firefighter Certification, and EMT classes. Firefighters who wish to take the firefighter training courses can apply to have their tuition paid by the Foundation’s Firefighter Fund.
The bank is promoting BC3’s training program for firefighters and collecting donations for the scholarship fund through October 31, 2019. Donations will be collected at all banking centers and through online donation site Go Fund Me (search BC3 Firefighter Scholarship).

Butler County Community College (BC3) has 37 career programs, 19 transfer programs, and 21 certificates or workplace certificates in the areas of Business, Health Care, Humanities and Social Sciences and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The Public Safety Program at BC3 is unique in its educational offerings to local volunteer and paid Fire/EMS organizations and agencies.
