Community Partners Support The Gateway Family YMCA

Joanne Rajoppi, Union County Clerk, Presents Donation to The Gateway Family YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign

Elizabeth, NJ, September 27, 2019 –(PR.com)– Joanne Rajoppi, Union County Clerk, presented a generous donation to The Gateway Family YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign at their Association Office in Elizabeth, NJ. The $4,500 donation was presented to Krystal R. Canady, CEO and Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO of The Gateway Family YMCA at the Association Office in Elizabeth, NJ. The Annual Support Campaign donation supports financial assistance to the local community for membership, programs and YMCA services.

“As a charitable organization, local donations help to strengthen our community by allowing all individuals and families to participate in programs and services that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, providing additional support to those who need us most,” stated Krystal R. Canady, CEO, The Gateway Family YMCA.

Every day, The Gateway Family YMCA works to support the people and neighborhoods that need it most by addressing community issues such as school readiness, chronic diseases and food insecurity. The Gateway Family YMCA uses financial gifts to help individuals and families in need participate in programs such as: Early Learning Readiness, Diabetes Prevention, employment skills training, teen leadership programs, and emergency housing in the communities surrounding the YMCA branches in Elizabeth, Rahway and Union.
