FTC to Host Workshop on Consumer Issues Related to Loot Boxes

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission will host a public workshop to examine consumer protection issues related to video game “loot boxes”—in-game rewards players can buy or earn while playing a video game. WHEN: Wednesday, August 7, 10 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. ET (Doors open at 8:45 a.m. ET) WHERE: Constitution Center
