FTC to Host Workshop in Chicago on Cryptocurrency Scams

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission will hold a workshop to examine cryptocurrency scams. WHEN: Monday, June 25, 1-4 pm CT WHERE: DePaul University

Chicago, IL 60604 WHO: Andrew Smith, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, as well as industry representatives, consumer advocates, government officials, researchers, and others. WEBCAST: The workshop will be webcast. The webcast link will be posted to the event page on the day of the event. TWITTER: The FTC will be live tweeting during the workshop from @FTC using the hashtag #cryptoscamsFTC.
