FTC to Hold Workshop Examining Online Event Ticket Sales

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission will host a workshop examining consumer protection issues related to the online event-ticket marketplace. WHEN: Tuesday, June 11 9:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. ET (Doors open at 8 a.m. ET) WHERE: Constitution Center

Washington, D.C. 20024 WHO: The workshop will feature remarks by FTC Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter and Eric Budish, Economics Professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as by a distinguished set of panelists. WEBCAST: The workshop will be webcast. The webcast link will be posted to the event page on the day of the workshop. TWITTER: The workshop will be tweeted live from the FTC’s Twitter page (@FTC) using the hashtag #FTCticket.
