FTC to Announce Nationwide Sweep Against Deceptive Auto Dealer Ads

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission and the County of Los Angeles Department of Consumer Affairs will hold a press conference on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. PST, to announce Operation Steer Clear, a nationwide sweep against deceptive auto dealer ads. These cases represent the FTC’s latest efforts to protect consumers in the auto marketplace.
