FTC Launches Redesigned FTC.gov Website

The Federal Trade Commission today launched a redesigned FTC.gov website that’s easier to use and reader friendly on tablets and smart phones. Users can now sort FTC cases, early termination notices for merger investigations, advocacy filings and other documents by date, type, and more.

In addition to enhanced sort and filter functionality, the revised site provides an updated calendar of events, better details about FTC job openings, and additional resources for consumers and stakeholders.

The agency also unveiled a new blog, “Competition Matters”, to highlight news and events in the Bureau of Competition and other offices. Read the FTC’s first competition blog post and watch this video for other new and improved features on the site.

The FTC will answer questions about the website redesign and help people navigate the site online. Follow @FTC on Twitter and tweet questions with #AskFTC. Facebook users can post questions and comments to the agency’s page.

Website visitors may also email the FTC’s web content manager questions and comments about the new site.

The Federal Trade Commission works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices and to provide information to help spot, stop, and avoid them.  To file a complaint in English or Spanish, visit the FTC’s online Complaint Assistant or call 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).  The FTC enters complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to more than 2,000 civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad.  The FTC’s website provides free information on a variety of consumer topics.  Like the FTC on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to press releases for the latest FTC news and resources.
