FTC Chairman Joseph J. Simons to Participate in International Competition Network Conference in Cartagena, Colombia

Federal Trade Commission Chairman Joseph J. Simons and Assistant Attorney General Makan Delrahim of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division will participate in the 18th annual International Competition Network (ICN) conference in Cartagena, Colombia, May 15-17, 2019. At the conference, antitrust officials and private sector antitrust experts from around the world, as well as representatives of intergovernmental organizations, will discuss key competition issues and recent ICN work.

The ICN includes 139 competition agencies from 126 jurisdictions. It provides a forum for antitrust agencies to address enforcement and policy issues of common interest and to discuss ways that member agencies can more closely align their policies and procedures.

The Federal Trade Commission works with foreign governments to promote international cooperation and sound policy. Like the FTC on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to press releases and the FTC International Monthly for the latest FTC news and resources.
