FTC, University of Washington School of Law Clinic to Host Town Hall Meeting to Explore Contactless Payment

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission and the Technology Law and Public Policy Clinic at the University of Washington School of Law will co-host a day-long Town Hall meeting on the campus of the University of Washington to examine emerging uses of contactless payment devices and their implications, including security and privacy implications, for consumer protection policy. The Town Hall, titled “Pay on the Go: Consumers and Contactless Payment,” is free and open to the public. There is no pre-registration.
WHEN: July 24, 2008, at 8:30 AM.
